OOTD- Rain, Rain, Go Away!... :-)

Even on a rainy day, a diva has to look chic when there's work to be done. I had to meet up with a client yesterday to complete a project that we started; followed by meeting up with the hubby for a quick dinner. I actually chose my outfit the day before without realizing that it was going to rain (I really need to start watching the news at least for the weather lol). Anyway...once I realized that it was going to rain, I just decided to add a pair of tights and a trench and I was good to go.

Tie Blouse- H&M

Vest- Guess, Skirt- H&M

Trench Coat- ZARA

Satchel Messenger Bag- H&M, Shoes- Giuseppe Zanotti

I actually love rainy days, but mostly only when I don't have to go out in it lol. How do you divas stay chic in the rain?

Trace Magazine- 10 Influential Artists that are also Fashionistas :-)

I came across this and just thought that I would share with all of my fashionistas out there :-)

OOTD- Lacey in Chi-Town :-)

If you follow me on FaceBook or Twitter then you are well aware that two weeks ago I attended a beauty and skin care forum in Chicago, but when I returned I was so overwhelmed with a few projects that I had to complete that I just realized that I forgot to share my ootd from my first night in Chi-town. I didn't really have much time to see much between the time our plane landed and dinner, but I did make it a point to stop and pick up some pantyhose (Chicago was a bit colder than I expected).

While packing for the trip I knew that I wanted to be dressed appropriately for an elegant dinner because our itinerary did inform us that it was going to be semi-formal. I also didn't want to be overdressed so I decided on this lace embellished little black dress. The lace and fit did all of the work in making this pretty simple dress into something suitable for the occasion.

Dress- French Connection

Shoes- Christian Louboutin, Clutch- Coach

The food at Everest was delicious. All of the meals had fancy French translations, but I can't remember their names right now lol.

I had a great time in Chicago and met a group of really great people. Hopefully next time I will be able to squeeze in some time to really enjoy and explore a bit more of Chicago.

I definitely will be filling you divas in about the forum and also sharing some really helpful skin care information that I picked up while there in one of my videos.

Stay tuned.... :-)

Hello Lover: A little Mary Jane doesn't hurt...Giuseppe Zanotti E16155 :-)

I know that I need to start adding a little more color to my shoe collection, but there is just something about a classic style like a Mary Jane with a 5"stiletto pump in black that gets me excited to give it a home. Mary Janes have been a classic shoe staple for many years. They are so feminine and now come in various styles and heel heights. They are perfect for various looks especially business/ corporate chic.

When I came across these I knew that I couldn't pass them up, especially since I got them for a steal at 60% off! Sometimes the budget diva in me needs to be gratified as well lol....

Hello Lover to....Giuseppe Zanotti E16155 Platform Peep-toe Pump

These shoes are super comfortable thanks to the 1.5" platform, solid heel, and slim ankle straps. They are perfect to carry you from day to night; especially for those 8 hour work days when you want to look chic without compromising too much on comfort.
